All,
I have the Extreme Philips bulbs installed, well worth the investment. £32.99 inc P&P plus blue sides from powerbulbs.com. Pain in the ass to fit as you need to move the battery and some bits from the cooling/washer system. Be prepared for grazing of ones fingers...! Rob. |

Hi everyone,
This is my first post here. This days I'm about to pick up my black 1.8 Sport Civic and I'm looking to upgrade my lights with some HIDs . As I'm aware the OEM HIDs on Executive are D2R , am I right ? If yes, then I want to look for a pair of aftermarket H7R HIDs . As I'm aware, H7R (not H7) are supposed to be manufactured for non-projector headlights - and this are similar with those D2R - this have some anti-glare protection. Has anyone here tried this H7R on civic ? |

[quote=DanKo;39653]Hello
Just wondering what's the best kit to buy? I've got my mind on the Mtec H7Fitting HID Kit, I think its 8000K anyways, any recomendations? I guess its easy as pie to fit on a civic, as there's nothing in the engine bay Lol. Dan[/quote Hi Danko, As far as I know the best light you will get is with 6000k. Make sure you get the White lights, as they are the best. I hear a lot about Philips. But just remember 6000k. I myself am looking for Xenon lights for my Type-R too. |

Best light is 4100/4300k, as this is pure white light - and also it is strongest.
6000k is already bluish, and has less intensity than 4300k. However, in the end beware of poor installations as many have high amount of glare, and oncoming traffic don't really like this... |
