Wonder if you can get any funnier colours then blue, could be quite amusing, think I will go for one though, tack-tastic.

I have just thought of a problem, LED's are not always all the same colour, a blue LED is not as straight forward as that, I have some lighting my deck in the garden (1 year ago, they were fitted, Honda copied) and the 2 packs are different shades, when I had a moan all I could get back was that they are all "blue".

Wouldn't want to get a different colour to the footwell lights and make it look tacky!!

Hi guys Just to clarify things I already have to footwell ambiant lighting kit This is the rear ceiling light iv'e replaced with blue LED festoon type as outlined. The colour match is as near identical to the LEDs fitted to the footwells - just floods the car on opening the doors then fades as per the original bulb - This of course can be switched to off/on/auto as required. Hope this answers your questions

Regards

I went for the studio pack which is a dealer fit option - includes reversing camera (my main reason for this option) 4 fitted car mats, 4 door sill embelishers & the footwell lighting kit - £825 fitted. I think the ambiant lighting is to pricey on its own but pleased it was included with the studio pack.

On Nick's website (autobulbsdirect) they do a muli-colour led Ref 501. Wonder if that will fit in the front light ?.

i think its the 501/w5w bulb that fits the front. not sure though so double check with dealer before placing an order!! i think the front should b left white though because it is usful if you need to read something in the dark.

sorry jeffao, u mentioned that u had studio pack which include blue ambients before, i musta been falling asleep! sorry to be a bother!.
i think that the blue ambient lights should go well with the rear blue ceiling bulb.

oh yeah, my dad had the idea to get an aftermarket blue lighting, and try to find the power slot they use for the official Honda blue ambient lights under the dash (bit ontop of pedals). think it will work guys? need pottsy for this 1!

Hi Nick, you'd still have the two map lights to read from.

no. no. no. your in the car, door shut, interior light ( blue, green, purple !! ) goes out. Then you can switch the map lights on separately to read. ( what you reading ,by the way ?)

lol, wait, theres two interior lights, one at the back and one set at the front. back ones are changed blue yeh.. so the front set of 2 u want to change to another colour too with the 501/w5w bulbs, so wheres the white map light guna b? unless u change only one side of the front ceiling light but that looks odd.

Nick, a thousand apologies. I'm thinking of a previous vehicle ( Golf. Focus ?.) which had a separate interior light from the map light. The Civic is combined. Oooooopppppps.
