Just a quick comment to all who have ordered the replacement LED lamp. The LED type requires to be fitted the correct way around ie + and - polarity, it will only work this way around - dont worry if you get this the wrong way around first time just reverse it (no damage will be caused to the lamp or vehicle).
Hope you enjoy your cool blue interiors. Regards Jeff |

At this rate we will be able to tell if a Civic parked up at night is owned by a member of CivInfo, just look for the blue lights, almost like an unofficial club badge.

Have we found out if the interior front lamps can be changed to a blue lamp/LED. I like the idea of locking/unlocking the car (on a night) and seeing the whole car interior flooded with blue light..sad I know but small things and small minds....

Your welcome Nick & welcome all to the blue light brigade - cheap ambient lighting! - one other suggestion, if the light level is a bit to bright you can always rotate the LED unit through 180 degrees ie shining upwards towards the roof giving a more subtle effect and a good level as background lighting when driving at night. Incidently I used my credit card corner along the front edge to prise off the cover, a very flexible friend.

i ordered two 501's yesterday for the front interior ceiling lights.
heres the site: https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/home.php?cat=612 not sure if 100% fit, but 99% im sure they fit. i ordered the 4 LED cluster because i recon it will give more light in the interior. trade off is that its more expensive. it should arrive tomorrow. i got my back ones fitted too. i will take a picture tomorrow night if it arrives that is. |

oh yeh, another thing if ordering from autobulbs..
at the moment their system is down for some reason and the status on all orders shows "Failed", but this is a technical failure. i just gave them a ring, they should still have received your payments and will send your items as per usual. |
