About to change the topic title, as it's a little confusing at the moment.

yeh, it is confusing.

btw, an update on the rear ceiling lights... it does look quite stunning at night in my opinion. floods the whole back seat area in blue!

I should, all being well get them tomorrow morning. I will TRY and fit them and as soon as I can, will try and post the best pics to show how it looks or doesn’t which ever it may be . I just thought if your changing the rear, why would you leave the fronts. Thinking the car lit up blue at night when you unlock the doors might look good.

Anyway if it looks crap they will be going on eBay.

At the moment, by adjusting the back blue LEDs direction, you can either

1. Have a gentle blue flood to the car (turn LEDs to fact upwards)
2. Have blue lighting focus around the gear stick area (twist LEDs to face towards the dash area)
3. Make the back glow blue (turn towards rear of car)

When you sit in the car, the white/yellow lamps in the front keep the lighting fairly "normal" but it does look nice from the outside in the back.

Ok, I have recieved the LED's this morning, or should I say The rear LED. Bit of a computer **** up at Autoblubs and they only sent out the rear. Anyway just phoned them and they are sending out the front's, so should get them on Monday/Tuesday.
The rear took me about 5 seconds to replace. The credit card idea to remove the frosted plastic cover is a great. And thanks to Basegreen for his how to,because I would have taken the WHOLE housing off . Just waiting for night fall now to check the effect. I am away this weekend so I might not get a chance to take pics, they might not show up anyway.

Spent Saturday night at my girlfriends brothers in Birmingham. Its the first time the "in-laws" have seen the car. Very taken with it they were .I kept banging on about this that and the other....as you do. Anyway we all went out for a meal and drinks....lots of drinks , came home late, picked up my car keys and walked outside and spent 5 mins locking and unlocking the car just to see the blue lights....sad I KNOW, but it looks the dogs b****s at night. Can't wait to do the front.

PS the "in-laws" thought I was on drugs....
