Interior Footwell light DIY?

It's a REAL ripoff to pay 300€ for a piece of led lamp, i can get one from my local store for 15€. Has anyone managed to connect a system by theirselves? Are the connections ready on the dash, just plug n play?

I rather suspect this is not easily added - I bet you need some sort of wiring loom/bracket which connects into the fuseboard area.

You can buy the kit from honda for about £105 inc vat, the installation instructions for the american model is here http://www.hondapartsdeals.com/honda...tesy_Light.pdf I suspect the euro model to be similar.
