Not as predictable as you though Brods

Anyway, MY friend has a VW golf - no light problems, another 2 (yes I know that means one more than you ) have Vauxhall Astras and no light problems. Where as 2 other friends (yes that now means 5 ) have civics and guess what................ condensation in their lights hmmmmm guess which car must have the poor design fault as CH says.

your friends with the Golf and Astra can join my club then

The more than happy with my car club

because some people with those cars do have this issue as do some civic owners

if it were a poor design by Honda then every euro civic owner in Europe would have this problem and they don't (

Oh look what I found only 11 replies since January 2007 and whats that a fix by Vauxhall ?? Surely not!!!

condensation? - Astra Sport and Astra Owners Club Forums

I looked at a forum for the new model Golf and couldnt find any reference to condensation in lights in their list of common problems (which isnt many compared to the civic btw)

Been looking at some third rate forum there TC I am sure that there will be mention of the issues somewhere on the web - I just do not have the time tonight to look ( but I shall )

Do you not find it strange how most civic owners do not seem to have this issue - including myself along with various other issues !!!

anyway I really should not be on here tonight - never fear I shall return and we shall continue this debate

Cant wait Brods - point is as I am sure others will agree wouldnt it be nice if Honda actually found a fix for this problem and ALL the others rather than just "temporarily fixing" with the same inferior parts!!!

Yes my car also has condensation in the indicators and the car is only 3 months old. Also I found that one of the indicator units seems to be loose, and the cover which connects it to the boot section wont clip on properly. The two screws holding the unit in place are tight, so it must be a faulty unit! I will call the dealer and may wait till the next service to have it looked at, the quality is nt that great really! I would of expected more from Honda!

Smile misting rear lights

for anybody who has yet to find a cure for the misting up of rear lights i spoke to honda through my dealer today and they are aware of this problem i know some people have had their lights changed and still no better well honda have changed the 2008 rear lights with a dense foam that goes behind the light to give a tighter seal so iam told and the dealer is fitting just the foam part to mine which i am told stops this problem we will see

Keep the Aircon on 'Auto' and it appears to stop the condensation

Look here Mates, do nt get heated things could be worse! You always get these kind of issues with a new model, Honda should iron them all out just in time for the next new model, then it starts all over again! LOL

How about using BUDDY instead of MATE???? LOL
