HID doesn't seem to even be a factory fit option on the 1.4, so I'm afraid that my guess would be 'no'

I don't see any reason why they couldn't/wouldn't but it would likely cost you a small fortune. Bare in mind that The 1.4 has standard dash controls that the HID kit doesn't need. So You would possibly even need a new dash put in. I really don't think its worth it at all.

A small fortune indeed CZ!
As original spec it must have headlamp levelling (suspension parts and sensors) and headlamp washers all wired in.
These days anything is possible, but as the whole wiring harness would need to be modified to support the system, not really something that anyone would undertake. It'd be cheaper to buy a new car

would cost you a fortune...new Headlights,Along with New OEM ballasts and bulbs... 1k at best in pounds i would say.
