Its definately more camp....
Unless the gas in the bulbs has taken a funny reaction to something, probably defective, get it changed. |

Took the car to the dealers today. After 10 Min's in the workshop the nice service receptionist says bulbs are only covered for 3 months & as you have fitted non Honda approved front side lights(LEDS) this may of affected the HID bulb buy getting some dust on the hid bulb (oh please!)
I ask to speak to the Techy he says hid bulbs are "very sensitive" the side light bulbs you fitted could of affected in some way the operation of the hids eg a change in resistance or voltage, he then says they could fit the £80 bulb & do a deal on the labour. He then phones Honda UK who tell him warranty on hid bulbs is a Grey area(or in my case pink) to take photos & put a warranty claim in. I wont hold my breath! I then ask about the recall on the windscreen trim he's never heard of it! |

They are self-levelling but they respond to input from sensors mounted on the cars suspension. They must be calibrated to this input using the two white adjusters on top of the headlight unit. It's innermost adjuster is for up/down I thin, but they are marked. Line the car up facing a wall about 3/4 car lengths away on a level surface (such a place can difficult to find!) and use a 5mm (medium) plain screwdriver to adjust the beam - it might take a few test drives before your saitisfied, my advice is to have the screwdriver with you can you make small tweaks out on the road
The adjuster looks like a hex (allen key) job, and it is (7mm - hard to get) but the base of the adjuster accepts a plain screwdriver too! Last edited by ukpm; 20th April 2007 at 11:43. Reason: spelling errors |
