And a shopping list for you..

If you have non-HID lights, you may want to upgrade your H7 dipped beams to the best dipped bulbs (thread):

Philips X-treme Power +80% bulbs (pair)

If you do have HID lights, you might want to make your sidelights match in colour, and not look all orangey (thread):

501 LED Super Bright White (pair)

If you want to replace the overhead interior lights to blue (or red for an R), then you need these (threads 1,2,3):

501 4 LED Bulbs (Assorted colours) Map lights - you need a pair. Don't forget to specify the colour.

269 6LED Festoon Bulbs - 30mm Overhead lights. Don't forget to specify the colour.

Don't forget the 10% discount code above! You can use all these links in this post and then pop the code in at the checkout.

HTH.

Just tried this with the interior lights which together (pair for front and one for rear) come to £10. When you take away the 10% it then makes them £9 which means you get charged £1.50 delivery.

Meaning with a 10% discount it actually costs 50p more than without

LMAO

autobulbs are expensive to buy from. You can get the same lights quite alot cheaper on ebay.

After looking at the different threads on here, Ive decided that I really should swap the orangey side lights for nice white ones. Ive followed the link above to Autobulbs Direct Ltd and the 501s are reduced. However, Ive also found this link for what looks like the same company on ebay.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HONDA-CIVIC-50...QQcmdZViewItem

What is the difference between the ones on the site and the ones they are selling on ebay? The pics look different but do they both do the same thing for half the price?

I'm a bit confused

They are NOT the same. The ones on Ebay look a much cheaper LED. Beware.

Compare the Ebay to these https://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/pr...cat=612&page=1

The Ebay ones look far inferior, although they do give the same spec. I guess you get what you pay for!

They are the same as these, so it's odd that they are £1 cheaper on ebay. I shall ask...

You're right Pottsy. I doubt they will give such an intense white light as the 501 Super Bright White though.

Ordered 501 SuperWhite LEDs and SilverVision indicators at 19:50 on Saturday
Email at 08:50 Monday saying the order had been processed
Bulbs arrived 09:30 today (Wednesday)

Can't say better than that!

If they were an ebay seller, I'd be writing some nice feedback

PS - 10% discount worked flawlessly too

Having trouble finding out what type of indicator bulbs I need. Thinking of the SilverVision you purchased, what type are they please?
Cheers

Just ordered some blue bulbs for interior maps lights and centre lights - can't wait to see it, gonna look amazing! (cheaper than footwell lighting from Honda!).

Thanks for the 10% discount

My blue centre ceiling LED has failed already

Only use the car twice a day so it's only on for about 2 minutes a day and it's gone in 6 months !

Back to normal white then.

Pottsy, is the light emitted by the Philips Xtreme Power + 80% bulbs a white light or is it still with orangey tinge?

I have these bulbs fitted, and they seem to give a reasonably white light. But they are designed to make it easier to see where you are going, not for the colour of the light.
Philips do a 'Blue Vision' range which gives less light on the road, but it looks whiter.
