HID fitting Type R

Hi pepole. Ive just bought myself a MR JP kit off another forum member. Can anyone clear up for me a slight issue I have. The HID kit has a blue cable and a black cable, that connect to your original bulb connections, can anyone clear up which colour cable connects to which colour on your original light fittment? (If that makes sense lol)

Not sure what wire it connects to but blue on the hid kit is positive. is on of the connectors from the car a yellow one?

Yellow rings a bell for some reason

Only got the kit this evening so not looked under the bonnet mate, but looking at loxys' guide his type r has brown and yellow connectors so I can only assume mine would be the same. So yeah I imagine one will be yellow! If so you think blue to yellow and black to brown?

If you have a voltmeter then test it to make sure. Either that or I will look at mine tomorrow morning and let you know for certain

I know what you mean. I sat the cold air feed in boiling water for half a minute and it went back in quite easy so didn't have to remove the ecu

When you take the rubber cold air feed out just put a little grease around the bottom and it goes back on easily.

I was lucky I only had to take out the rubber cold air feed pipe which I no longer used. I came a little annoyed fitting them when fitting the drivers side and the spings clip thing which holds the lamp in popped off. Trying to clip the two prongs back in while getting dark wasnt the best.

Finally got them sorted after 30 or so mins just with this one clip... If I was to do this again, do NOT start when you only have 20 or so mins of daylight left, but I hate waiting for things...
