Also has anyone tried Phillips Dimond Vision, these look like Bluevision but are 5000k not 4000k like the bluevision's.

White light

they are self levelling, but there is an adjuster for the 'start point'

I've tried to put that in words, but failed

so here's a (rubbish!) pic instead

6 pics, 2 sets.

Set 1:
Pic 1) headlights as standard, hitting road 10 foot ahead.
Pic 2) 5 bags of cement, with no self adjusting going on - lights hit 100 foot ahead
Pic 3) 5 bags of cement, self adjust gets the light to hit back at 10 foot

Set 2:
Pic 1) headlights manually tweaked to hit 20 foot ahead
Pic 2) 5 bags of cement, so self adjust - lights hit the road waaay off in the distance
Pic 3) 5 bags of cement, self adjust gets the lights back to the original position of 20 foot ahead

hope that makes sense!

Doesnt headlight alignment get checked by the UK MOT?

Do you have a pic of the adjuster?

Unfortunately, there is no mention of the colour temp on the packaging or on the website that I can see.
But I don't think it as high as the Blue Vision bulb. They aren't supposed to be HID look-a-like bulbs, they are just brighter standard bulbs.
They are a worthwhile investment for the Civic though

No thanks, my specs are fine. As long as you are happy with them, thats all that matters.

They emit no more heat than a 'standard' bulb. They gain more light by the design/geometry of the bulb rather than making the filament hotter with more wattage, therefore they are fine to fit in any bulb holder. They are much much much better than 'normal' but are still white/yellowish
If Philips produced a Blue vision x-treme......even better. Maybe !!
