I haven't got a pic, but the 'TTDegslightspectrometer'* (TM) says that the new LEDs are at least as bright as the old bulbs, if not brighter

* My mark 1 eyeballs, in combination with parking behind a black people carrier, and sitting in the car to make sure the lights were reflected back (ie working), one bulb at a time

Why are you bothered about daylight visibility? I thought they were for parking at night. If you're driving you must have dipped headlights on as well. I think it's illegal to drive on sidelights only in GB.

These photos were taken in bright sunlight, and you can just about see the white light given by the '501 LED Super Bright White' bulbs.

No more yellow sides....

Got and fitted the 501 Super Brights from Autobulbs Direct.

Received my 10% discount and free blue bulbs thrown in with the 501s.......

Could have used a fair maidens hands to get in about the rear of the headlamps, but then again my pig`s tits did succeed.

They really are WHITE...!!

Thanks for the advice Forum.

whatever you want

When you spend over (I think) £10 on AutoBulbs site, you get a free gift of either standard white or blue 501 LEDs. Or a tyre pressure thing.

They also fit the map reading lights, which is handy

If you have changed the centre white festoon for a blue 6 led then it looks good if you also change the map reading lights to blue led's. I've changed my white festoon to white 6 led and the map reading lights to 501 Super Bright White led's, which gives a well matched bluey-white light overall.

Did this today.
I actually had to borrow a fair maidens hands because mine wer eto big even after taking the main beam wire and bulb out!

Very white and nice.

Due to Daytime Running Lights legislation in Sweden, my HIDs AND sidelights are always on when the car is running regardless of setting.

Do those blue bulb presents fit anywhere (legal) on the Civic?

My sidelights are Superwhite led's that have one centre blue led in them to give the blue tint. Got them from ultraleds.co.uk

Hi Vivid Bluey

Your lights look awesome!

I went onto the website, but not sure i could find your ones.

Could you kindly provide me with the correct product description (or link :P).

Thanks

Jase

just to clear up one thing!!!

please confirm!! - sidelights are "half lights"?
dipped lights are normal driving at night??(green light on dashboard)
mainbeam - when no one coming other way and full bright to see better??(blue light on dashboard when on)
am i right before i order my bulbs!!!!!!

also read in thread somewhere!! which ones were harder /easier to access/ replace??

i'd just do lights that you drive around with normally at night as full on beam (when get blue light on dashboard!!) bright enough just other ones not good enough when traffic coming towards me!!
