Question help with led bulbs?

i did the full led conversion last night on the golf, interior, front and rear

but when fitting the rear reg bulbs, i used 36 mm 12 led bulbs, when the 2 are fitted they both cut out after about 3 seconds, but if i fit one led and one normal they stay on

is there too much power which is causing them to cut out? how can i over come this?

currently have 1 led and 1 normal fitted because both dont work at same time

any help appreciated
thanks
gary

I would say so as well.

Do you get any error messages on the dash.

If it is a CANBUS error you will get a message on the car computer saying X bulb out.
If it is a cheap chinese led that has those canbus chips the chip may be bad.

I am glad that the civic doesn't use canbus lights.

Hi,

What year Golf is it as we do have Canbus number plate bulbs available. I can send you a link to the correct ones if you let me know the year of the car.
