I prefer the blue interior of the non-Rs myself.

I was in halfords today (I didnt really want to admit that) was looking for red interior bulbs when I came across 4 led lights in red with all wiring, the lights are individual so thought this would be a good and cheap ambient light fix for typre r as think you can tap into the glove box light to power them, just buy 2 kits, 4 per side fixed under the dash and hey presto ambient lighting for £10.00 yes £10.00 unless they were priced wrong that is, only had a quick look but think I will look again

Sounds good! Are you planning on buying them and being the Test Dummy?

Hi i bought those lights in blue for my Type S,dont buy them they give the wrong type of effect, you end up with 4 very bright spots on the floor and a bit of a glow around them .. What you need are the pack of 2 Door handle lights(halfords £9.99 pair) 1 on each side give the desired effect just a nice soft glow Im going to wire mine to the cig lighter with a switch (far easier ), will post some pics when i get er done
