Other Dash Lighting- Buttons

Can anyone confirm whether the Km/h - mph button is meant to be illuminated with the headlights on... I could have sworn mine was and now it isn't... car only three weeks old seems a bit soon for the internal bulbs to start blowing... any ideas??

Got to report that my one is`nt illuminated and never has been and checking in the book I can see no mention of it being so

No, its definitely not meant to be illuminated.

Thanks for that.... have had a fair few problems with car in it's short life already, mostly fit and finish, must be head playing tricks! It's a shame 'cos the car is great to drive...

Thank God somebody put this thread up. I had my dealer plagued about this as I was sure the MPH/KPH button lit up. Funny, all the photo's I've seen of the dash show it lit, especially the Type R photo's. Must be my eyesight playing tricks on me.
