I dont think it's too clever for people to be witch hunting this guy, for what are obviously silly comments he made, not really fair on people who've already ordered off him.

Personally, I read through JP's bulbs thread a bit, checked his feedback and ordered off him.

Correct, the rules apply to you also.

We did not turn a blind eye, as was pointed out by my post in the thread.

Unhappy customers is part of the risks of being a trader.

^^ This.

Please keep this thread as a thread about Mr JPs product and service quality (or possibly lack of), rather than turning it into a Trader vs Trader debate.

As Mr JP himself pointed out in the first post, a bit of competition is fine.

Thank you.

I dont really want to drag this on but I do not agree the thread is still active even though the wheel were advertised on ebay yet the T&C state

5. You may not list an item that is available for sale elsewhere or at auction,
including eBay. This is because anyone trying to buy your item here will have to wait until the auction has ended, and then may not get the item. Likewise while a deal is being negotiated here the item may sell elsewhere. The only exception to this rule is whole cars - which may be advertised here (in the Cars for Sale section) in addition other car sale websites such as Autotrader and Pistonheads (please post in your thread when your car has been sold or traded in). If your items here are not selling and you wish to advertise them elsewhere - simply PM a moderator and he will close your thread for you. You may not advertise links to your own auctions held elsewhere. Any ebay links (including your own auctions) may be placed in the "ebay links" forum. This forum section does not allow replies, and is not visible to Google and the outside world.

Now correct me if I am wrong in what action was taken as the item was still advertised here as on ebay or am I missing something here?

as for my own personal problem in my thread may I point out

10. Thread spoiling is not tolerated.

  1. If you have no intention of making a purchase, stay off the thread. If you are interested in the item for sale, you may link to a website offering a lower price. Posts from users who are clearly not interested in buying, will be deleted.
Now I know and understand the guy made a purchase but then tried to blackmail me for a free set threatening to leave a negative comment (I have pm's + sent them to another user to ask advice on if I was being unreasonable) because I did not give in to blackmail does that make it ok to thread crap and slander my good reputation as a trader? and the best bit is I did offer a full refund on return of the item so I don't see the problem.

I guess I am missing something in the trading rules or its a case of one rule for one and one rule for another

Sorry to thread crap your thread James

I do not want to drag this on either, but you are incorrect regarding "active". The thread is in the archive.

When dealing with Mr. JP he made sure all my questions were answered quickly and accurately. Bought bulbs on Monday at 11.45am and they were at my door the next morning. Awesome seller and will deal with again!

I can honestly say the service i received from JP was outstanding. The bulbs i were sent 1 was originally faulty, but JP sent out a new one the next day!

The bulbs have now been in my car fro a long period of time, performing excellently.

100% recommended and i will always return, even if i don't own a civic

Just bumping this for people that haven't already seen.

I am getting quite a few PM's asking if I stock 42 LED 360° bulbs which have been seen elsewhere, I DO stock them however I have found in the past 42 LED's is overkill for the following reasons...

1. More LED's = More to go wrong
2. The current draw is excessive and I have seen 42 LED bulbs cause fuse failures.

3. They are so big and top heavy they are prone to falling into the headlight housing which is extremely difficult to then retrieve.

Even so because there is demand I will offer these for sale at £12, the same price as my 25 LED bulbs, purely because they aren't as good. Look out for a seperate thread.

As always ASK me before you buy anywhere else, not only will I aim to price match, you won't get better advice anywhere.

Just making you aware.

Like I say I will, but the reasons I haven't up to now are listed above.

same here had them for the reverse lights but every time you shut the hatch one would move a little then not work, the best ones IMO are the ones with 5 single large leds and what people don't realise is they are a 5050 led which is basically 3 x 3528 (the ones on the 42 led lamps) leds inside each single led so in total they are 15 led equivalent.

Click the image to open in full size.

I have these all though the CTR

reverse lights
rear side lights
rear number plate lights
not 100% sure but think these are also in the interior light next to the rear view mirror

I can assure you all they are more than bright enough but the front side lights I have the single led type as I think they looked better with the HIDs.
