"Fake" fog lights

Ok... but of a strange one post here but I thought it's worth a try...

Does anyone know of any companies that make or design "fake" or immitation fog lights??? I only have the standard Type-S, not the GT so don't have fog lights, but would like the look of fog lights, and obviously not that fussed about them being functional!

Also it appears with all the damaged fog lights going around this could be a cheap option for replacing the damaged ones!

Any ideas anyone?

I like that idea. Couldn't quite stretch the budget to a 'Sport' and think the front looks so much better with the fogs in, this would be a cheap way of doing it.

How about our guy on here, who makes the protective covers for the fog light glass.
"Fablon" now do a highly reflective self adhesive range, which could be attached to the inner surface of his cunning idea and then fixed to the blank offs on the bumper.

Well, for me, fog lights are little more than a fashion accessory, never used and not much help if you do use them. The Civic ones are worse because they are so fragile and costly. I think fake ones that don't break are a very good idea and I might even stick them over the real ones.

Hello

As I am purchasing a Type R GT, in march next year. I am thinking of making some fog light protectors.

The problem is that I have no car at the moment (Civic) to trace the shape of the fog lamps.

If somebody could trace around there fog lamps and also the area that is cross hatched on the non fog lamp civics.

I work as a programmer at a laser cutting company and will cut them a pair of stainless steel covers that can be attached to there car (either Full size covering the whole of the blanking plates of just the cross hatched are)

Please make sure the Tracings are quite accurate (ie like taking stone rubbings etc)
