Illimination of Window lock switch on drivers armrest

Hello all,

My first posting, though I have been loitering around for a while. Thanks for all the info BTW, very useful.

Anyway, here's my question relating to my 2.2 diesel Sport:
Does anyone know whether the "window lock" switch is supposed to be illuminated as the other buttons in the driver's armrest are? The switch I mean is the one which has am image of a half-open window with a cross through it. I notice that the actual window switches light up when they're active (i.e. when they're unlocked) and the car's lights are on, but on mine the lock button itself never lights. My dealer tells me that this button is not supposed to be illiminated. Is that correct?

Thanks in advance.

I have a CTR and this button does not illuminate. I'm not sure why not but I think that the dealer is right!

I don't think it's design flaw, as it is not illumineted on the accord either.

Didnīt say it was a biggie..

But.

If you switch off the passenger windows, these buttons will no longer be illuminated. That is quite clever.

But at the same time the switch for turning them off and on is the only button in the car that is not illuminated at all?
