Can the Auto On sensitivity be adjusted?

Hello,

I've just driven back from Stansted airport and noticed that most other drivers had there lights on but mine never came on (set in Auto position). They do work though because when I put the car in the garage they come on.

Question is can I adjust the sensitivity so they come on earlier (i.e when its not as dark)?

Thanks

As far as I'm aware, there is no adjustment for them.

No, there is no switch or setting in the car.

It would require cutting into the electronics some how.

I'm sure, as you have the EX, there's an option in the service (debug type thing) menu, no?

There is a somewhat radical method - I use it to have the lights on all the time - it is covering the light sensor with foil. Simple as it is, it works - and probably you will be able to use some not-too-dark foil if you just want to get the lights on a bit earlier.

(by the way: the foil can be applied from the inside of the car, after carefully removing the sensor package. Take care not to stick the foil over the rain sensor, it takes some experimenting to know which one's which)
