An excellent day out, was disappointed I had to dash and miss lunch. Enjoyed the run despite the fog and was great to meet the poeple that have not been on previous meets. Thanks to robbo and sallytraffic but expecially to veritas for the route planning, maps and directions, some great local history on there too!

Looking forward to doing that run in the summer!

Keep the pics coming!

SC

PS I have a feeling that me winning the skoda keyring might have been a fix

Another terrific meet, poxy weather notwithstanding.
Thanks to all those who turned up from far and wide contributing to a splendid day, great that Gareth from Holdcroft could make it too.
Special praise must go to Frank and Chris for their organisational prowess.
I really do hope we can resurrect the route at a later and more friendly date weatherwise. I will produce a blow-up of the problem junction in Holmfirth if ever we do.

The PCSO in question lives in the same village as me and is aware of my Civic duties as it were. I caught her eye as we passed and indicated that i was being followed, guess she used her common sense and discretion to ease us all through.

Thats what I call dedication to the cause, getting the PCSO in the right place at the right time to speed us throught that part of the run. You have to have a word with the ones in Holmfirth mate

Some great pictures. It looks like everyone was up early with the collinite !

What sort of camera did you use Cityhunter & Robbo51- they have given good results in poor weather.

That's a great site to behold, all those civic's!

I find it amusing all the people in the town looking with bemused expressions on their faces.

It looks like the weather didn't dampen a great day for you.
What a fantastic turnout you had, but it was a shame no northern Vivid Blue owners could attend, as it looks as if most other colours were represented.

I hope the Southern meet that Woody2k4 is organising is as good as your day out. A quick plug
