Congratulations to all the photographers! The organisers! And participants. Our intro and first meet was memorable in every good way and can't wait for the next.
Cheers
Mark and Nicola.

From both me and Mrs PJR, big thanks to all the organisers of the meet (Chris/Frank/David ??) - pity the weather closed in so much, which meant we couldn't see much of the scenery that Yorkshire is famous for! We both enjoyed our visit, and it was good to put faces to names.

I am absolutely shattered though - 650 miles in about 36 hours! (270 each way, plus an extra diversion today via the Lake District.)

Couple more photos for you....

YL Meet 2.JPG

Plus a random bit of nice scenery that we could see today (A592 Kirkstone Pass heading North from Windermere) Sorry no Civic(s) visible.

It was nice to put a few faces to names, and catch up with a few familiar bods. Worth the trip up IMO (even if it did dawn on me how much petrol is nowadays!!!). I didn't get home to around 12 midnight after meeting a couple of friends in Manchester, and picking up a new spoiler for my Capri.

Hope to attend another soon,
Gaz.

I just looked at the post by pariah and realised how imposing all those civics together looked. Together they look amazing. Great to see so many civics together and the orange one was interesting.

Well done, now you have set a precedence for your meets.

Thanks for that. As I said in my earlier post, it was good to put faces to names, but it was also good to see the various mods that people had done to their Civics - particularly different wheels, bodykits, spoilers etc - They sometimes look a bit different in reality to how they look in photos.

After seeing the trunk spoiler on your car, I'm kind of tempted to buy one for mine - have to see how the finances go.
