Wales Tour - March 2008

RMC Wales Tour 2008

Limited spaces (only one spaces left)

An extended meet for all you drivers out there! This meet is designed for all those who enjoy the country, scenic roads and driving.

- 27th March 2008 Thursday night

Overnight stay for those who live a fair distance away from the starting point. A get-together and evening meal is a necessity!

Caerphilly Travel Lodge early booking fee £29.00

We will meet up with you prior to the 1st meeting point and travel down together will be about 30 mins away from main meeting point in Bridgend.

- 28th March 2008 Friday

Drive from South Wales up towards Mid-Wales using only the best driving roads. There will be stops for photographs, refreshment and re-grouping. Of course, you are more than welcome to make your own way to the designated B&B for Friday night's stay...

Hotel

OK I have found a Hotel out of the town which has off road car park, has a bar and does evening meals.

has 11 rooms, all with en-suite facilities, some with four-poster beds.
There are 7 double bedrooms, 1 twin room, 2 family rooms and 1 two-bedroom suite.

2008 TARIFF:
Bed and breakfast £39.50 per head for shared rooms,
and £47.50 for single rooms.

- 29th March 2008 Saturday

Drive up to, and around, North Wales taking in the well-known Evo Triangle. Similar format to Friday but in different surroundings,

- 30th March 2008 Sunday

Drive home. A different route back towards the South Wales area taking in more central places - Brecon, Abergavenny, Chepstow and further south still towards Cardiff.

The subject of safety... I will remind those attending that we do not condone/endorse racing and we fully expect attendees to be law-abiding and to drive responsibly. If you want to drive like an idiot and rag the nuts off your car then please take it elsewhere and leave the rest of us to enjoy the event!

Depending on the event it is quite possible we'll be attracting a lot of attention so please respect other road users and avoid excessive noise/speed in public and built-up areas. Also worth bearing in mind is the fact that there will potentially be lots of bikers, cyclists and horse-riders out sharing and enjoying the roads with us. You know the drill... be extra vigilant and keep checking your mirrors. Please keep it sensible.

Yes we have some stunning roads and scenery just like yourself in Scotland which is a place I hope to visit again this year
