How many Civic owners are out there who will be interested in meeting for a cruise through the Blackpool Lights this year.??

The Yorkshire meet was a success recently (sorry i couldn't make it ) lets see if this one can be bigger !!

The only problem is that it is quite some time before they are switched on. August 29th, in fact. Unless we go er.. the 'Long Way Round' that is

Does sound good but when I was down for the start of the lights in 2007 some woman smashed into the M3. So i'm a bit wary of going down there at that time of year

I'm up for it this year, couldn't make last year cos i was on honeymoon. If we find out when they start, we could decide on a weekend and start a list of who wants to come along. If it was anything like the york/lancs meet should be a good turnout

The date would be crucial though.

If you want to see the lights it would be worth keeping an eye on the dates they are switched on - the site below shows the 31st Aug provisionaly. It will probably be very busy on the night they actually switch them on.
