Where is Svinesund? I'm guessing Sweden. Actually, having livind in Finland for almost 12 years now, I still have not been to Sweden...

Phew, 1100 kms from my home. A long way. Wonder if my mate would want to come? Would be an interesting trip. When are you all thinking of doing it? I am basically free until mid August (benefits of being a teacher, long summer holidays

If we all agree on the Svinesund area I may suggest Nordby.
Grenseguiden.no - Nordby
There are more than enough free parking there and perhaps more important - a wider selection of places to eat and drink.

Also there is a motel there in connection to the Rasta restaurant.
Just an idea

- any views please?

Since it's fine by most people to have it first sat of July I'm guessing it will be so.
The problem is I would really like to go see this: Förenande Motorsport and it's of course on the first sat of July.So for me, the second (12th) or third (19th) would be better.The 26th and the 2nd of august is no good either.

The 12th or 19th is fine with me - you can't miss 'En dag på strippen' I do understand that...
