England South Combined Outer London and South Coast Meet

At our last Outer London Meet today we discussed the possiblity of combining an Outer London Meet and a South Coast meet. So all those folk on the south coast this will be a great opportunity to see the London owners. So as most people on the holidays during August we decided that we would sound out July first to see what the response would be. I haven't got any ideas for a venue as yet and I open to sugestions. The dates I am thinking of are: July 5th 12th and 19th.

So let me known what you think.

Charley - hi, hope you are well. I see you haven't had much response so I will see if I can help by pushing it to the top again.

I would be happy to come along, I used to go to another car meet at a pub called Drusillia's in Dorset :

Drusillas Inn, Horton, Dorset, BH21 7JH - pub details # beerintheevening.com

The pub has a very large car park and catered well for an Audi Cabriolet forum that I used to frequent. We used to eat lunch. look at each other cars and then cruise down to Sandbanks and park up near the beach for the afternoon.

Would this work ? Is anyone else interested ?

Certainly would work for me - Horton is almost on the doorstep and there are quite a few owners in the Poole/Bournemouth/Dorset area and prob wouldn't be too far for some Devon owners. Late july better for me but owing to work commitments would prob only come for the afternoon/few hours.

Horton - would be good for me too. Although, I live in Ilchester, my brother lives in Wimborne, so I could crash at his place. Also agree it could be an ideal place for others in Dorset/Somerset/Devon/Hampshire regions to meet.

Hi Civic_tone, Lippy, Civvy Civic

I've been quite busy with work, family etc. The end of July wouldn't be any good for me as we are off to Cornwall for the family holiday. The venue looks great, my inlaws don't live that far, so its not a problem for me. So I'll stick with the original dates July 5,12,19. Lets see what the response is the coming weeks. I know alot of forum members are saying that there has not been many meets in the south or south west.

Hi All

It looks like the wife won't combine a visit to inlaws with a civ info meet. So it looks like I've got to go it alone. So for me, the only dates I have now are the 9 and 10 August.

Ahhh, I was going to suggest the 5th July but now I cant come as I will be in Cyprus for the first 2 weeks of August

I'm not going to be available during the month of August to take part in another meet. So if anyone wants to take up the mantle of organiser then please feel free to go ahead.
