Hi i was wondering if anyone is up for a Blackpool lights run this year????

MEET POINT :

B&Q CARPARK M55JCT 4 LESS THAN 500YDS FROM THE JUNCTION ON THE RIGHT I HAVE BEEN INFORMED THAT IS HAS A SUPER CAR PARK AND IT IS 5 MINS FROM BLACKPOOL ITSELF !

MEET TIME :

SATURDAY 13th SEPTEMBER THE LIGHTS START @ 7:40PM SO MEET WILL BE AT SAY 6:45PM AND WILL STAY FOR LATE ARRIVALS UNTIL 7:30PM SHARP!!!!THEN WE CAN WOW BLACKPOOL WITH OUR CIVICS !

Please let me know if you are interested it should be a good night, this is open to all members. Hope you can make it. Lets make this the biggest meet in the UK!!

Well like pete said either just use this for the yorks/lancs meet for a change or have lunch in the day at the malthouse then this at night?

I'm Gutted i now can't make it cos my wife has got tickets to a concert on that night. Should have been a suprise for me but she has had to tell me.
She wasn't very happy.

The yorkshire meet is definatly on though

LMAO, You wish Chris!! Just heard that the Top Gear lot are turning on the lights this year, gonna be a feature on the programme probably. Anyone want to change to that date of 29th August seen as we might make local and national tv? Or shall we just keep it as it is?

The Switch On

Friday August 29 2008

Join us on Friday 29 August at in the BBC Radio 2 Arena for the highlight of Blackpool's year when the switch will be thrown to set the town ablaze with light for the 66 nights of the Blackpool Illuminations.
This year the Top Gear team Jeremy Clarkson, James May and Richard Hammond will be making an extended pit stop to flick the famous switch during a free concert and special live broadcast on August 29.
