I am in Chicago sometimes, but I tend to fly rather than drive the Civic over.

I don't think the Civic will stand up to floating over the Atlantic, a bit like the top gear three who drove across the channel.

It does freeze between Russia and the US far north somewhere I have heard. At least some winters... bit of a drive and not sure the Civic is the best vehicle for it.

Cool Mmmm ...

I'm in Houston now and then ... but, I never (before) considered driving transatlantic ...

NOT that I'm "chicken" ... after all, if 'Top Gear' \ JC can get a ratty old Toyota pickup + outboard motor across the English Channel, then a Civic can certainly handle the North Atlantic ...

However, just one tiny logistical 'fly in the ointment' ... the barge-load of fuel you'd have to tow behind you ! ...

The Bering Strait crossing is looking better already ... mind you, I think I'll be waiting until the proposed Tunnel is built !!! ...

(Alternatively, if anyone knows of any reliable Polar Bears, we could have a guided tour ?) ...
