England South Brands Hatch Meet Weds 19th Nov

If anyone is interested, and I apologise now for late notice ( as off ill whilst writing this ) I will be attending the Ford RS owners meet at Brand Hatch tomorrow evening and there is plenty of space in the car park for a few Civic's. I normally get there around 8pm and it is simply a case of driving through the gates and parking up near the bar. Dead easy to find just follow the main road as you go through and you'll see all the cars. Might not be that busy as weather not great so shiny, pristine cars don't like coming out. However there is usually a good mix of cars. No one drives like an idiot as Brands staff will chuck them out instantly anyway.

As a few threads said no one meets in south east I thought that this could be a good place for a few members to meet and catch up. Let me know if you're thinking of going or able to go and I'll keep an eye out. I have a 58 plate silver type r gt.

I'm going to see what I can do re this as it'd be nice to put in an appearance, however few there are of us there. Just to cause confusion, I also have a Type S GT in silver, 58 plate - you'll see mine though, signwriting all over it......

See you there - I will be around looking at cars! This can easily be a regular meet in the future as RS club always meet every third wednesday there. So others who might have looked but not been able to make it - there will always be another month/night. Usually goes a little quiet other winter months - but soon picks up.

Yeah good night - a couple of us turned up and it was good for others to see the venue and the potential it has for south east owners. Last night was very quiet - possibly because of the football and also because of the weather and time of year.

Thank you to 'Lemans24heur' and 'Uncler' for turning up and having a chat/showing their cars. Both agreed it was a good place for a regular meet in the future. Unfortunately Brands is shut next month with it being near to Christmas so will keep all interested in meeting updating on here.

And thanks to esmayes for sorting out the mini-Civic gathering. Was good to chat to other FN2 owners, a first for me believe it or not!

And I concur, it makes an ideal meeting spot for those of us in the South East, so looking forward to the next one and seeing a few more faces there!

Yes it was a good night and thank you esmayes for sorting it,will have to get a few more along in the new year and also when the weather gets better,
its good to have a chat with other owners and the rs owners do not mind us either
