i did turn up a little late about 1.45 & everybody must have been in the exhibition by then & my kids were moaning there was nothing to do. so we decided to leave & carry on to macclesfield

we did get a few strange looks though as we parked up from non civic owners

my missus wants to trade in her megane for the blue 07 civic

don't tell them that - they might move up here!! If we keep up the impression that its grim we can keep all this green space to ourselves!!

Was a great meet, well organised by SJ and i had fun even if there were no games/quizzes/treasure hunts!!

Was nice to put some faces to names, and get to feel like a bit less of a newbie after meeting a few of you, hope to be able to do it again soon!! Will be working on a Yorkshire meet sometime soon, but i need to have a look at my diary and fit that in!

Will post my pictures as soon as i have downloaded them all and blanked out all your plates!

Excellent pics, shame the cars weren't all clean
Mind you there was a cleaner on hand, wiping the bugs off a highly polished Type S.

it was meguiers quick detailer (got it in a clay bar kit they do) it works a treat used with a clean micro fibre towel to buff away the road film

mine was a bit streaky tbh - i was going to swap and go over it again with a cleaner towel but Helen thougth you would all think i was being a bit anal about it if i did!!

Didn't want to look too much like a sad act at my first meet!!
