Looked on the website, only saw tickets for Raceday or the Weekend, can you go just for the quallifying, or do I need to dust down the tent?

For some reason they are only selling qualifying day tickets on the gate at £12 each. I should also mention that they usually charge £5 to park on the infield but for several big events this year (A1gp, DTM) its been free so hopefully they might do that again.

I've never ever known the BTCC to sell out! Even last year at Silverstone with a crowd of 30,000 the biggest in years it wasn't sold out. The Southbank parking itself is on the gate and is first come first served. You have to make sure you go in the correct entrance though which is the one after the main entrance if your heading down on the circuit side of the road. It's usually marked with some black triangles.
I am a bit worried about what will happen if we get weather like the past weekend though, I don't fancy getting stuck in the mud! |

I'll be there both days, the only reason I suggested doing the meet on saturday is that its much quieter so theres more chance of us being able to park in a big group.

Did anyone else go to the BTCC in the end? I was parked on the South bank on saturday, but ended up parking elsewhere on Sunday. I didn't see any other civics on the south bank.
We'll have to arrange this properly for next year. The Seat Cupra Forum had a big group there on Sunday. |
