Hi Lynda, and welcome aboard

Must just say that the dyno plot I had done was as Westec, and I would be more than happy to recommend them

Top bunch of blokes, and Grant (the boss) definately knows his stuff

I'll double check with the wife, but will almost certainly be along (though only to watch as I've done nothing since the last RR they did for me )

I guess there is no charge to just turn up, or is there a small one to add an incentive to make it.

The deposit is in place for a reason, sadly in this world people say they will do things and be at places and then let people down. I cant afford to pay for other people who fail to turn up and its unfair on Westec as they need to know how many cars are running so they can sort out staff.

No offence but if I said to one person just turn up I would have to say it to everyone and I cant do that for the above reasons.

Everyone is welcome to come along watch join us for a meal etc but if you want to run your car on the rolling road I must ask you to pay the deposit.

I am not making any money from this meet or any other meets, for that matter, the normal price for a rolling road run at Westec is around £55 I believe, but if you do a group booking its cheaper the more attend the cheaper the price.. I have enough for the £35 price and we are not far off the £30 but anything less then £35 is a bonus as far as we are all concerned.

As for what I get out of the events I organise.. Well a lot a stress, and a lot of grief. I don’t make any money doing my trips out in fact they cost me, as I do dummy runs to make sure the route is ok and no road works going on etc and make pack lunches for everyone and bring soft drinks for stop off points. We take photographs of the cars and never ask a penny for the high res versions either..

So you might think why I do it. Because I enjoy meeting new and old friends, getting people together enjoying their cars and the British roads and countryside.

By all means if you have any questions or concerns feel free to contact me my contact details are on the website

Thanks

Lynda

We have two FN2's on the rolling road and another possible but that all depends on how long Madasscivic is on holiday for.

It would be fantastic if we could get a 1.8 on the rolling road too - we would then have a graph for all 3 engines from the same bit of kit

And a 1.4 would then round that off nicely
