Southern (Outer London) Meet

Guys and Gals,

Isn't it time we had another Southern meet. Anyone up for something early in the New Year. Maybe the Yeading Marina or how about Bicester Village (to encourage our female partners).

I would vote for Bicester Village. (So might Capt. Kremmen and Richierich I suspect; but it's for them to say of course.)

Anthony.

Actually, you are right. He is much closer to the Marina isn't he? Still putting my hand up for Bicester Village though...

Anthony.

The Marina is obviously closer for some but we need to share out the local meets and be fair with the locations.

Hi Guys and gals

I would be up for a Bicester meet. I agree with Kremmen we need to share the meets with people who can't get to the Marina. So Topcat will you organise again?

Bicester sounds great, I could walk to Bicester Village, the parkings a nightmare

Although I do think we may have issues with Bicester village, its busy, the only places for refreshments is Starbucks, Pret a Manger or Carluccios, none really lead to just sitting and chatting, maybe a pub on the outskirts somewhere, one of the villages maybe.

BTW, thats not me volunteering to organise.

I was thinking more a country pub on the outskirts of Bicester, I wasn't thinking that far on the outskirts.

You got any suggestions TC?

Yeah outskirts of Bicester but London not further in to the depths of Bicester

And no suggestions I dont know that area at all really - my mum's friend used to own a pub there many years ago, that was on the outskirts called the George & Dragon.

Hi Everyone

I often visit bicester on business. My plumber friend has informed me that the Red Lion in Wendlebury is a good pub with good parking facilities.
Here are some images:

Hi Topcat

Would you could consider Denham Village as venue? Its not that far from you and close to the M40.

Yes I would but I think you should all go ahead with your plans for nearer Bicester as its easier for Sonic and Richirich and any normal person that can just jump in their car and go further than a 10 mile radius

Hi Topcat

Are you saying your not normal? Lol. Lets see what the consensus of opinion is. I think we would all love you to be at the next meet. Denham is not too far for Sonic or Richie, but lets see what they say.

Don't mind travelling, if it makes things easier for everyone to get there. I'm not gonna dig my heels in and say it has to be in Bicester if it means TC misses out.

Mind you having said that, if it is this side of Christmas forget it, too busy!
