    I believe from another post
"7mm drill bit into oil pump balance shaft locked off"
Presumably yo did this when changing yours? - how did you know about this procedure? -Did you have a honda manual to help complete your timing chain install?
if this part of the procedure wasn't done what would be the consequences?
in your opinion could this be the cause of a slight inbalance, and at higher revs serious inbalance / juddering / EML.
    - car will only rev to 3500rpms. when driving over 2000 rpms there are pretty vibrations shaking the DMF/car

thanks for any help / suggestions.

    Hi Jon G,
hope you don't mind me messaging you, you replied to my earlier thread about my timing chain replacement at a garage, unfortunately they have not been able to fix the problem - despite getting a 2nd mechanic to check, and confirm the chain is on correctly..so im kinda big stuck(they have returned car and suggest trade it in)
There is a slight inbalance i can feel at low revs, which feels low right on the engine, I am thinking this is the oil pump balance shaft?, - it feels like the oil pump could be working against the engine rather than smooth.

Hi, sorry to message you but I'm having massive problems with TypeAccord and I can't get a moderator to reply to my e-mails. I can log in ok but I can post any messages nor start a new topic.

I noticed you're on both websites and obviously I can message on here ok but I drive an Accord rather than a Civic and I don't know what else to do.

I have 3 fault codes on my accord and I'm looking for help on it if you can somehow get me access on type accord. My username is the same on there as here.

    Thanks

    Dave

I agree. I was expecting more errors but, that it all im getting. I can't keep it running long enough to get any readings. The snap on solus has a koeo test for the throttle position and actuator which has passed.
