Very so I took a trip to tegiwa and had a look at a silver one they were just as bad then compared to the rrc. The rrc was better aesthetically, the runner ports were also larger and better finished as it appears to have the casting marks ground down where as the junk2 was very rough internally

Got all my polish and wax and pads and.... paintwork is shot.

Only had to do a third of the bonnet to see that no amount of cutting and polishing will remove them scratches. Going for a ghetto track car look instead lol

Rather have TDi cams fitted than a full respray xD

Polish and wax kit are now in the FS section. Everything is practically new

Will be getting FD2 pump, I'll be happy with 240 and around 170lbft once removable decat, pump, inlet + TB fitted.

Was going to do cams, port head and do compression etc but feeling like I can't be bothered going that far now. If the Honda S660 ever gets released here my FN2 will be sold to buy one so no point going too deep.

Worst case I'll try and test drive one on my trip to Osaka next year and import the 660cc version if that fails. Waiting for the rumoured 1l EU version but not holding my breath!

My setup before cams.

HKS RSK, RRC inlet, FD2 TB, Balancer Shaft Delete Kit, Tegiwa manifold, Magnex 2.5" cat back (the original one, not the re-branded Blue Flame one you can only buy now).

Click the image to open in full size.

Cams transformed it TBH. The car just felt more punchy.

This is the comparison with the Skunk2 stage 1s.

Cheers for the graphs, lower cams do pack quite a punch.

I'll see how I feel next year, all the inlet side will be fitted 100% and remapped again and I'm sure once I get it on the track I'll be pining for more power

Busy weekend, got a few things done.

1/ Harness & brace turned up. Fitted the Ultra racing brace, not a huge, huge difference but definitely noticeable as the rear now twitches a lot less which is always nice

2/ Intake hard pipe came ready for when I finally get the RRC and FD2 TB (one day!!) Looks rather nice actually, unfortunately due to the different angle of the RRC this won't fit until then.

3/ Cat was chopped out and a removable system was installed. Now takes 5 minutes and 2x 17mm spanners to swap them over. Took 4 of us to remove the section to chop though as the lads at the garage sealed the section super tight. Been playing around over the weekend with the decat and feel sad putting it back on again for now, car pulls soooooo much better (especially lower down the rev range).

Yep, it's not ARB noticeable but the twitch has gone completely so it's 100% worth getting. Will be even more noticeable once the back seats are out

Most noticeable on roundabouts when you're shifting weight, completely tight round it now, so much so that I can gun it a little more and break traction lol.

Last step before cams and FD2 pump. Expensive day but totally worth it

Managed to get an OEM FD2 TB after plenty of searching.

Thanks, your mods were the same as my first three, if you like the RSK sound, keep it unlike me. I swapped to a Gruppe M to then be told it's restrictive and get a Teg / CAI

I know I'm about 6-7 years behind everyone else who did these mods but that only gave me a wealth of information to go off (shame about the intake)

I parked my milano next to a mugen one at Grinspeed and my god my car is pink. I'd rather spend the money on performance mods than a respray though lol

Mainly did mine to get rid of it, had it welded in n wanted it out, so much better now.

Was another milano but full mugen kit on it and the paint was so nice it still looked wet xD

That's what I did this year. Had it welded in but didn't bother making flanges etc as it would have cost twice the labour, and although my local garage is more than competent, I'd rather someone like solid fab did it. So took it off after MOT and welded the Tegiwa part back on. I'll probably have a cheap Tegiwa for sale next week, nothing wrong with it anymore but it's been chopped up a bit

Dunno what do suggest about the paint because I don't think polishing makes a difference. It's a good excuse to get some mugen parts or other styling parts on your car though presuming you don't already
