Fd2 project!!

Hello
I have a 2007 ima hybrid civic, simple question is that can it be converted into a fd2 ?

Not sure about internals, but certainly the body can. Saw one on Autotrader about 6 months ago that looked just like an FD2.

Yes thats what i need to know that can I drop in a k20a manual gearbox (ima is auto) and other things needed for this conversion??

Ide say from watching Mighty Car Mods on YouTube that mouthing is absolutely impossible if u have the right skills, tools, parts and cash to back it up. It's just sounds like what your planning could be one hell of an undertaking as I doubt it will be a simple engine and gearbox swap.

May be better to buy a real one, and it's worth fd2 money still.

Converted car be worth much less, and costs alot to do.

Must be possible though, where u get an fd2 engine I don't know? The best version of k20 so valuable.

Yeahhhh as the others have said, the sheer complexity of converting a hybrid into a non hybrid? That's an insane challenge even for experienced mechanics, it's not just a drop in unfortunately.
