It's pretty nippy actually. :P

0-60 runs are only the half of it really, just thought I'd see what it was around. I'm sure I could launch it better, but I like my clutch how it is at the moment.

I'm actually running the TDi stage 2s now.

They didn't perform as well vs stage 1s to be worth the extra outlay for the valve train upgrades but I'd already had that work done for the Skunk2s, so it was no skin off my nose so to speak.

They are really good on low cam and mid range so they suit me fine for the time being.

Thats a good enough 0-60 to pull a few lengths out the blocks on a Focus RS / Megane RS etc

It is, but I've possibly got some head porting and subsequent port matching to come so I'll change it when that happens.

The clockwise motion sump baffle that your using I take it it's a slot in job then just a new sump gasket needed and job done? Are these better than the weld in plates as they are race proven?

I'd explicitly trust anything that Ian at Clockwise makes, but yes it has been race proven, and it is gated rather than just a plain plate, so oil can freely flow back to the pump pickup.

Aye slot in and refit the pan.

No, the hook you can see on the centre top of this picture hooks onto the oil pump.

Yes. This one is specifically designed for the K20Z4 with the FD2 pump mod.

I didn't ask if Clockwise did one for the standard K20Z4 oil pump to be honest as I'd already had the oil pump done then.

Is that the balance shaft delete kit? Or just the oil pump?

It's the same thing. The FD2 pump doesn't have any balance shafts in it.

There is a list of the bits you need here: FD2 Oil Pump

I too will vouch for Ian's baffled sump, as Loxy says, it's a great piece of kit, no welding required, although Ian explicitly stated that Honda bond only should be used!

Car passed it's MOT today. No advisories.

Tow hooks are a failure though, sharp edge. Who'd have thunk it.

You could say that.

Manifold from a Vectra, it was still attached to the Vectra mind you.
