Not when your car is bank financed. You have to have full cover.
Also I would never drive with no insurance in a type-r. Maybe with a golf

Right, a friend of mine was Suud Afrikaan He never had insurance cos the area he lived was a bit too rough to make it viable...

I will be doing the LSD and clutch in a couple of months.

Didnt you fancy trying the CT CIA ? I bought one but it looks an arkward install as its for a LHD car,, its a big lump and looks a good seal to under the bonnet.

I looked at it but I had the Injen already, and the injen works well.

ok but can the OEm clutch take 300bhp or will it simply burn out and slip in a few days/weeks ?

Civic Si's have been running for over a year with +300hp on stock clutch so a few months will hopefully be OK.

The Type R clutch isnt like the 2.2 Clutch the USDM Civic's are a prime example of true K20 parts
