Mahle 10.5: ACR176386F03 86mm
Import Performance Parts - Acura Mahle Pistons
MAHLE PISTONS ACURA RSX K20 / K24 86.50b 86s 139r 12cc | eBay

Why not just get some shelf 11.0 wisecos, or CP's.
You putting these in a new engine or your current engine?

Hey Marcin,

I realised that I tried ti answer your question without even thinking about your st-up.

JE Custom Piston rule, and I tried to show you that, but, when I got home and looked at i twith more time..... a questions came up:

- Why only 10.5 CR??

You are running a ROTREX, not a Turbo, and even a Turbo with our 98 RON doent need the CR thats most people say.

Rotrex likes a bit of Compression, you can easily run 11.5 / 11.7 CR!

Think about it..

recently I asked information to a tuner
the 4th already
He advised me 9:5
He said if you flattens the head you gonna end up almost 10 compression
He advised me not to go higher so that the engine would last longer
the risk of detonation is too big

Hey Marcin,
What did you decide to go for 10: 5?

few people advice that i need 10:5 for best performance but i must change my plans! I thought about install these pistons and rods without remowing engine. Few people told me today that i MUST bore to fit perfect new pistons!!!!
I have on block BBBB pistons so i thought it will be straight and easy install!!!

Right now consider install stronger rods with OEM pistons but i is this good IDEA??????

I don't think a rebore is necessary to fit new rods, especially if the hone is 100%. I have heard of a re-hone sometimes to tidy it up if thats not perfect but not a re-bore. Why do they sell stock sized pistons then.

those few people have equal

that would certainly make it alot cheaper
I go to my tuner with this proposal
I've already gotten prices of + 4000 euro for the engine only
without the price for out and back insert of the engine
expensive hobby

I also have bbbb. All same size pistons.
You don't need to bore.
If you want to make it more perfect just hone it. But even honda don't say that you need to hone, only if the Sleeves have scratchs.
On stock sleevs the only pistons i would use are oem or mahle.
