I asked you that because one of the things I don't want to do in my car is changing the injectors, but nothing wrong with oem rdx. I want stock only because the trip computer will be off with bigger ones.
With my stage 1 cams the car is at +- 90% duty cycle. Bigger cams, more fuel more duty. But I think Lunar Tick is running the Fd2 with toda A3 with stock injectors. |

Hope the 212's come up with the goods Stoney
RDX injectors are great, my car ran smoother the second I swapped them over. I need to inspect my Ti retainers soon as i've done 9.5k miles on them since installation. It seems like its good practice just to check them out every 10 - 15k. For some they never wear out, for others they last 20k - it depends on so many factors. |

Hi Nuno, with the last few firmware releases of FPM Hondata have allowed to change a few injector settings to dial in flow rates etc for the economy computer, it takes a few tanks and a bit of trial and error as it's not as simple as setting to 440cc etc but it can be done. Romain is more than heppy to leave calibrations unlocked so I will eventually get this sorted if a larger injector is required. |

It'll just be a case of keeping an eye on them, it's only a 1/2 hour job to whip the cover off and on anyways, I do very little miles anyway so 10k is literally about 18months for me |

Sounds like you know the score Stoney.
When I weighed the oem steel retainers they were 15g each. The supertech Ti beehive retainers were 3g! At 9000rpm thats a lot of moving mass removed from the valve train, and a much better controlled valve spring. |

titanium retainers needs inspection every 5k miles coz these are for race use only and wear fast.
steel retainers are the best option for dd cars. |

Depends how marginal they are I guess.
How often do they rebuild race engines because they have sacrificed strength to the limit to drop weight. |

I've never heard of a Ti retainer showing excessive wear at 5k tbh.
not unless Ti means tinfoil |

Updates
Few parts have started to show up and I'm gonna get my ass in gear in get busy. First up this weekend ( touch wood) is brakes. I picked up an unused set of rear DS2500s ages ago and I just bought a set of plain Stoptech rears off Madmotors Ebay shop for £83 quid with mega NI postage ![]() ![]() Last week I picked up a Skunk2 black series 80-72mm DBW throttle body from Marcin for an epic price, quality looking piece of kit and weighs sod all compared to OEM pieces being billet ![]() ![]() ![]() Next up on the agenda was to improve my airflow to and from my airbox, I'm sticking with the Tegiwa but ripping it apart and making a few changes, first up is the feed. Listening to Paul@TDI I'm gonna do this by smoothing the flow out, the 83mm feed at the start of my thread is coming out and being replaced by this multi-ply Silicon coated hose which has a hidden coil covered on the inside, even at 90 degrees as you can see below the bore is smooth, far smoother than the old item- I will take pics of this when I remove it. ![]() ![]() 90degrees outside ![]() 90degrees inside ![]() Cameras dead, Nexus pics will have to suffice Valvetrain etc is ordered too, but good old USPS tracking system only works inside the USA, hopefully it hasn't done a Titanic on me. Trying to source exhaust parts at the minute then a few more secrets will be let out of the bag thanks for taking the time to read chaps- questions and opinions always welcome. |

just a very good setup: scoopin + tegiwa + multi-ply Silicon coated hose.
you need to say what mods are going to do on the tegiwa. I want that also! |
