Trackdays Type-R

Last summer I was first time on the track (Alastaro, Finland) and was enjoyed by driving Type-R very much.
But also i understood that car is far from ideal. First of all because of weak stock engine.
I had folowing config:
- stock engine, exhaust, intake
- 4 pot brakes, goodridge brake lines and ferrodo 2500 pads
- exedy st1 clutch and fidanza flywheel
- KW variant 2 coilovers
- 18" forged wheels
- Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tyres
I decided that next step should be engine.
This summer were installed:
- RRC intake manifold
- TODA replica exhaust manifold
- TODA A3 cams
- double springs and titanium plates
- AEM short intake
- Hondata Flashpro (MAP, 98 fuel)
- OMP front and rear bars
Also I made some suspension seup - front camber -1.5, rear camber -1
The car came to life.
The results of this summer local Time attack - 4 races, 3 first places and 1 third place in my class.
Honda breaks now Lotus Elise, Seat Leon Cupra, Opel Corsa OPC, Honda s2000.
But i'm still thinking car can do more!

Next setup will be:
- various UltraRacing bars
- front camber -2.5, rear -2
- LSD
- Boomba racing engine mounts
- Ferrodo 3000 pads

Target - to break EVO, STI and other more powerfull cars. I gues it would be impossible without further engine tuning but i'll try...

less weight and smaller diameter (faster acelaration on track). If you track go to 235-40-17

Eibach make rear shims specifically for our civics. ABP/TDI caould both supply them. Look in the traders section.

you should warm them a little (just one or two not hard brakings).
they make some noise on low speed (squeak) but it doesnot matter for me

Today was most hard track day for me in this season.
Rules were:
3 attempts with 2 battle laps each. Every attempt on new configuration.
The result is summ of all 3 attempts - no chance to mistake.

There are were many interesting rivals.
I have no idea how but i am the first.
