Vit's No Baby Turbo's Allowed Build
Hello all! A few people have asked that I make a build thread once I get my car back, so here goes.
I have a 2008 NHBP FG2 Coupe, it has been down in California for about 7 months now getting a custom heart transplant. I picked it up this Saturday (10/22/11) and drove it 1000 miles back home. Drove great. The car has everything: A/C, full interior, factory navi, etc. Everything works, this isn't your typical race car/tin can project car. Big thanks to my friends at GO Power Motorsports for building some fantastic parts!  Myself with the GO Power crew (left to right: Armen, Jeff, myself, CJ)  The lady that let me get away with spending so much time and effort on this build  Lots of nothing on the drive home...  First bath after coming home  Now on to the details of the build:

Turbo manifold design   Dual pumps intank  CC clutch  Motor   Billet hanger  Sleeved block  Internals  PPG gearset & gearspeed syncros   My turbo next to a baby turbo (Precision SC6262):    There's probably a few things I've forgotten to list, I will add them as I remember!  For now I cannot post any numbers, as they are underwraps due to a side venture with GO Power, but let's just say on wastegate pressure (6psi or so) we blew past our expectations, and on 14-15psi it is just absurd! We made on 6psi what other K20 turbo setups make on 11-12psi (to the wheels, none of this BHP crap). I will be able to most numbers probably in January. For now a few videos! Watch the blow off valve on this teaser video... Start up... What the exhaust sounds like driving off.. Dual pumps priming... |

Haha, gas prices are a bit relative, $4/gal is a lot when you are forced to drive to work... public transportation in my area is relatively non-existent

Awesome Vit, as I've said many times.
Thats what I call a modified Civic! When do strips open back up your way? I didn't know you had been without it for so long! Like I said don't be surprised when I carjack you one evening. Fantastic Vit! Sitting here trying to write a tedious article on glucosamine and sport performance and than I saw your thread, which made a great break and put a smile back on my face
