Currently sitting at JP Exhausts in Macclesfield waiting on my exhaust being modified. As the first attempt is so loud they are now going for a different back box. Fingers crossed it does the trick.

Off to TDi North after for a tweek to my map.

Just arrived at TDi North. Exhaust is spot on now. Sounds just like the HKS I had on before. TPW will be taking her out for a spin to update the map shortly.

hi paul, what was the purpose of the change then? I thought the hks was too loud?

Sorry Ben, I should have said it sounds how the HKS sounded when I first had it.

I am now running a custom exhaust with a cat located where the front silencer would have been on the HKS. I had tried the HKS without the front silencer but it was too loud for my taste. The custom one has a bigger back box and is designed internally to be much quieter.

No worries Paul that makes sense

How did the map tweak go? did the cat sap much power particularly in the mid range? Or did you not have a map with without the cat previously? Sorry for all the questions!

Paul tweaked the map on the road rather than the rolling road so no figures.

May be tempted to stick it on the rollers next weekend.

Questions are fine Ben, as long as I can answer them. Lol

As long as it drives nice and reponsive and you're happy then the figures don't really matter mate
