My Honda Civic Type R CW
Hey Civicinfo.com
Bought my Type R CW 3 months ago and absolutely ..... love it to bits!! It had only done 260km when I picked it up at the Honda dealer. Already bought a few mods which will not go on the car until spring when I plan on getting a lot more mods on the car ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Well this is my buildthread or whatever you would call it and here are the mods I already bougth for my Type R but not yet on the car: LED lights for the back license plate: ![]() 18" Enkei PF01 lightweight wheels. Donīt know yet if I should stick with this colour or get them painted black or maybe gold? ![]() Blue xenon look a like postionbulbs, not sure what you call them really? These are the mods I plan on getting next spring. CPL or Tegiwa exhaust manifold Hondata flashpro CPL, Tegiwa or HKS RSK intake Etune Eibach lowering springs or a KW V1 coilover. This is pretty much what my budget will allow me to purchase this time. I thought long and hard about which mods to go for at first and have decided engine mods are my first priority Last edited by Madcaddies; 19th December 2011 at 22:46. Reason: want to add more text |

N13L: I have thought about painting them gold since it would look awesome on a white car but I am not sure I am a fan of gold coloured wheels

Hi Paul
I was planning on using VIT for my Etune but I can maybe be persuaded to give another tuner a try. What sort of gains/numbers can I expect with my mods from you with: HKS RSK HKS catback CPL race exhaust manifold Hondata flashpro obvious Thanks Rune |

With this combination gains close to 30 horsepower and 35 Nm of torque are not uncommon.
When I tune the FN2 I usually try to maximize torque over a wide powerband as it`s a streetcar. |

Thank you Culasse. I will think it over. There is still quite sometime before I receive the parts and get them fitted.

Impressive list of mods.
The car will feel like a totally different animal with that lot on. I don't have a manifold but have had a drive of a car with one fitted and it has far more mid range torque than mine. The CPL CAI gives a really good sound when on VTEC which is not far off that given by the HKS RSK - its really addictive. Bet you can't wait now. |
