does anybody know if mugen parts placement affects the factory guarantee?

If you mean fitting them your self then i think it will void the warranty on what you have replaced with the mugen part

If you have them fitted by an approved mugen dealer then you might get some kind of warranty

The mugen parts fitted to the M20 are only covered for one year but the warranty is void if the car is used on a track

so if i put the mugen exhaust system or the air box and my engine blows up for any reason my factory guarantee still exists or Honda will avoid that due to the tuning parts...
