Mugen licence bolts

I've just got myself personal plates (going through midlife crisis). Although my civic is just the standard 5dr 1.8 I'd like to use mugen bolts instead of the standard ones.

Do these just screw straight in or do you need to faff around trying to get a nut on the back of them?

Unfortunately it's a bit of faffing about behind the bumper!

Mine just screwed into the pre-existing holes, no issues aft 20k ish miles!
