Mugen Short Shifter

im trying to put something to bed with this post. there's claims by a certain trader on here that the mugen short shifter is not actually what it says it is, and mugen have only shortened the actual stalk, stuck it in a fancy box and charged their normal price. does anyone know what the score is on this? i was under the impression that the throw was shortened by roughly 10mm in each direction on the mugen? i have one of these fitted, and i will say its a quality modification which i do believe has a shorter throw. anyone else able to shed any light on this?

I personally don't know the in's and out's on it but I have one fitted and there is definitely more to it than just a shorter lever.

I made mine even sharper and shorter with the japspeed modification too

Yes mate, very very easy to fit. Takes about 30 - 40 minutes if you take your time. Definitely worth the small price

It's only some cm shorter stick.

There is a new shifter from hybrid racing that seem much better.

And buddy club also have a new shifter.

Interesting . The BC one has a shorter throw but longer lever.

The TWM one is very short - had a play at the weekend

http://www.hybrid-racing.com/store/h...w-shifter.html

That is for anyone looking at buying the hybrid racing short shifter. It's independantly adjustable, It also has height adjustable gear knob, which is quite cool. So you can adjust left/right and up/down.

I worked it out at £216 before shipping.
