Question Malfunction Indicator Lamp has come on

The Malfunction Indicator Lamp came on today on our 2003 Civic.

I know on some cars you can get the car to let you know the actual error code.

Can this be done on the Civic and is there a list anywhere of what problem each code is for?

Thanks.

I don't think there's anything listed on the subject for the previous shape Civic. Is it on all the time?

Best thing is to see your dealer. Good luck!

Think someone I know may have a code reader.

Dont suppose you know where the OBDII connector is in the Civic?

Thanks.

There's aload of stuff behind the glovebox on the old Civic, you could look there. There's also some bits and bobs behind the centre console on the floor. I'm not sure whereabouts exactly.

Fault was a faulty front Lambda sensor.

Just for anyone else looking for this info in the future the OBDII plug is at the back and bottom of the centre console. The plug is clearly visible from the drivers side and points out towards the drivers side.
