It all depends on where you drive and how you drive. I don't use it to work so I don't tend to sit in stop/start traffic meaning I can get a better mpg sticking to the speed limits. I don't know about others but there are quite a few speed cameras, fixed and adverage near me. Not to mention that Lothian and Borders police have recently up'd their unmarked cars on the roads in order to catch folk speeding, not wearing seatbelts and using mobile phones whilst driving. I would rather be safe than sorry.

i just dont see what point you are trying to make , the old saying if you cant talk sense then dont talk at all comes to mind who cares what mpg youre getting or your opinion for that matter i certainly dont

Well I suggest that you remove yourself from this topic as its all about TYPE R FUEL ECONOMY!!!!

I own a Type R and thefore I can post in this, if you don't like it move on to another topic because others post their MPG am I not allowed to or is that only for 'Special' people like yourself?

As for the MPG part of your quote, I started this thread just to find out what kind of MPG people where getting from there R,
Like every other person on here I did not buy my R for fuel economy, like you i used to own a RX8 that had one off the most uneconomical engines i have ever owned.
