The picture you are refering to was apparantly taken by a user called Honda F1 Racing Team. See 7000rpm? Also, that thread title is a little racist.

Sorry TT, it's 2:1 and I've put it back, on the basis that "french" is not a reference to race but nationality. And because this country is going so PC bonkers someone needs to slow it all down and start calling Christmas Christmas.

Aplogies if I was the only one who saw a problem with the OP.

Back on topic, the official Honda specs give the 1.8 a higher top speed than the diesel, so am a little supprised by that.
