New Ctr 18 " Alloy Wheels And Tyres For Sale
Hi All,
Im selling a set of 4 wheels off the new type R inc the bridgestone potenza tyres. The wheels and tyres are in as new condition are completley immaculate. The tyres have not done very many miles and still have all the rubber you would expect from brand new tyres. I am only selling these as I upgraded to the 19" rage alloys. These wheels would look great on any other civic and completley transform the look of the car. One wheel alone retails at £325 without the tyre, I will take £675 for all the wheels. Collection from leeds is fine. I may split the wheels individually if I get enough interest but would want £185 per wheel and tyre for the hassle ! Any questions feel free to ask ! |

Ross there is a company that advertise on ebay, that will courier one wheel for £20 or a whole set for £29.99. I've used them three times and they are very very good. Next day delivery too.

eighteentee, be careful about buying 18" wheels for your ES. As standard your car would have come with the 16"ers on like mine, but you can only go up by one size.
ie - you can only go up to 17"ers. EX owners can go up to 18" and Type R owners can go up to 19". If you want to go up by a bigger margin (like you want to with 18's), I read somewhere that the dealers would have to modify the speedo and whole suspension setup. May be worth doing some research on this website before committing to buy. |

Crikey! Here's me thinking it'd be a simple straight swap. Dealers seemed pretty keen to flog me some 18's when I was buying the car..

I have 18" Storms on my NHB Civic SE and they have a '40' profile tyre on them. Fitted by the dealer when I bought the car and they never mentioned anything about changing the suspension??? |

19"s might be a step too far, as only the Rs get these as a standard option, and have very different suspension to the rest of the range...
However, 18"s are available on certain (non R) models, and I've yet to find anything other than "the dealer said" which indicates that all the suspension bits aren't identical across the 5 door range, and a different (but identical to each other) setup across all the S Types. ie - it would appear that a 5 door SE (dealer supplied max 17") has the same suspension as a 5 door EX (dealer supplied max 18") Certainly the speedo wouldn't need to be adjusted |

I've got 18" Type R alloys on mine and its fine. Better handling, and the speedo's as much out as it was with the regular 16" ones. (EDIT, just realised how old that message was!)
